I saw the walk-in psych today because I was running out of medication.  He was taking my history, etc. and looked at recent appointments I'd had.  He was thinking out loud, trying to figure out why I saw each specialist.  He didn't say anything about the dermatologist, but my acne is sort of obvious.  He did say to himself, "Why did you see Dr. [Whatshername]?  Let's see here. . ."  Then he got to the part about hormones on the chart and said, "Oh, hormones!  I thought so."  What is that supposed to mean?  Anyway, he wasn't an ass about it so I can't complain.

Today I used a women's bathroom for the first time since I moved.  I started feeling really under the weather while in class this evening and decided I'd get soup for dinner afterwards since it's my comfort food.  I went into a ramen place next to the building and was ma'amed by the waitress, so I felt even worse.  With a belly full of soup and a long train ride ahead of me, I inquired about the restroom and was directed to the basement of the bar next door.

Some guy was bounding down the stairs ahead of me and went through the second door.  I hesitated, thinking about whether I should follow him on principle or take my chances with the first door, since the bar and restaurant were practically empty aside from other guys.  I chickened out and chose the (luckily deserted) women's restroom, which in retrospect seems like a more appropriate place to have discovered I'd started another period a scant 19 days after the last one.  Choose your own adventure confirmation bias!  I can conclude that last week's insanity was PMS, and I can claim that I triggered this by taking two days off T, as if these two things were totally independent events.
